
Mahon is also known as Mao has been the capital since the British changed from Ciutadella. It is the largest town in Menorca with one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Guests are able to explore the port by taking one of the regular tours on a glass-bottomed boat which offers unique views to the shoreline and oceanic life below. The port is a fantastic place to relax in the day, admiring the sea views and sailing ships. Es Grau is a large sandy horseshoe shaped coast located in the capital of Mahon. The waters are shallow and warm making it safe for children, as there are not many holiday accommodations the beach becomes busier on the weekend by the locals in Mahon. A ferry leaves most of the summer days and offers trips around the bay with fabulous views of nearby coves and beaches.
Cala Mesquida is an attractive and untouched bay in Mahon with deep crystal clear waters. It's a quiet and peaceful beach often find nudists nearest to the cliffs.
