Ferreries is found on the main road connecting Mahon and Ciutadella. It's a fabulous rural area which consists of beautiful countryside's and valleys making it perfect for scenic walks, cycling and horse riding. Ferreries is the prime location for farm produce and produces cheese in the surrounding areas.

Cala Galdana (Queen of the Calas) is considered as one of the top three beaches in Menorca with a beautiful bay consisting of pine trees, emerald waters and shelving sand. This beach is horseshoe shaped with shallow warm waters making it safe for children to enjoy snorkelling. Cala Mitjana is a privately owned beach and one of the first virgin beaches to be accessible by car. It is neighbouring beach to Cala Galdana and highly popular for tourists.
